If I'd only known this earlier...

That would have saved so much of my time.

1) Opened MIDI in Anvil Studio (latest version).
2) Opened Piano Roll Editor function, went to end of song.
3) Made sure marker was at the end, and clicked 'new cue' and entered ]
4) Went to the point to loop to with marker, repeated steps but put [
5) Saved MIDI, drag/dropped it on mid2abg.exe to get .s file.
6) Opened Sappy, loaded ROM, assembled over a song with .s file.
Could it be you use a different version of Anvil Studio? (the 'new cue' button looks different, I think it has lost compatibility with mid2agb). I really don't want to be back to editing the file in text What could be going wrong? It's a little ironic that I'm having trouble despite the simple steps xD
Yup, I'm having the exact same problem. My Anvil Studio is version 2012.11.03.

Well, I've just tested it with 2012.12.05, and it worked fine. Update your Anvil Studio and try it again. If all else fails, try going to Repair Song, then export the MIDI and convert it again. When it asks you about removing notes, just say no to be safe.

This is so strange, I just got that same version a little while ago and tried this, but I'm starting to think it is not AS that is causing the problem. I redownloaded Mid2AGB from 2 different sources and tried it with both and still get the same results. I also tried the above suggestions, and I'm not sure what else to do at this point :/
I wonder if anyone else is having this problem besides me and Chaos Rush... Maybe it has something to do with the other files in the main folder, like TR.exe and the others. I don't want to be a bother, but a short video tutorial just might reveal what could be going wrong and stop this from happening to others. This method is just too good to not use!

Well, if it's not working, perhaps just try with a different MIDI and see if it works. Try running MID2AGB through command prompt and tell me what errors show up.

If it all works, tell me any errors Sappy gives when assembling the .s file.

Well considering how me and Skyline are apparently the only people who have confirmed that they tried the tutorial, perhaps there's a missing step or something?

And you're sure you're exporting a MIDI-Format 0 file?

Pure win, that seems to have done the trick. :D
For the longest time I had been exporting regular MIDIs! Thanks for the help Team Fail.
Chaos Rush, is this working for you too?

Yep, that did the trick as well

I would mark that out clearly in the tutorial so more people don't have this problem. I just assumed you save it and drag it onto mid2agb like usual.

Yeah. Perhaps mentioning that would be a good idea.
